Experience the fascinating city of Viborg!

Viborg is a city that has it all! Viborg is one of Denmark’s oldest cities, which can be trace right back to the Viking times. You can feel history all around you - enjoy the charming cobblestone streets, visit the ancient houses, monasteries, museum and the pedestrian area with shops, cafés and galleries.
Step inside the Viborg Cathedral, the world’s largest granite church, go to the Energy Museum, where you can experiment with old and new forms of energy. At the World Map in Klejtrup you can cross borders easily, traversing rivers and mountain chains. Not far from Klejtrup is Hvolris Iron Age Village, where you can try living as our ancestors did many thousands of years ago. The limestone mines at Mønsted and Daugbjerg allow you to go deep beneath the surface along many kilometers of mineshafts. If you want to try making boxes and dishes of cardboard, then try the working museum Bruunshåb Gl. Papfabrik. At a day with many new impressions, you can enjoy a meal in one of Viborg’s many restaurants, wine bars and cafés – all of them within walking distance. You can also preorder lunch and dinner at a reasonable prices and eat together with thousands of handball players at the local Congress and Concert Hall nearby (this offer will be ready in April).
